ABOUT THE SHOW It all started as a dream. Now a reality. Shailesh, a student from the Temple City - Madurai dropped out of his management studies course in the year 2001 with a vision to achieve his goal of becoming a young entrepreneur at the age of 21. His keen interests were in the field of web designing and marketing. After making a market analysis and finding that there was a need for entertainment portals, he was determined to start up his own for Madurai. His work experience at Dot Com Infoway (DCI), the company that owns Galatta.Com - one of the premier movie portals from India played a major role in his career as a Web Designer. He still is grateful to Mr.C.R.Venkatesh, his boss while at DCI. Shailesh considers him as one of his role models. The love and passion he showed towards cinema and celebrities drove him to launch UthHeaven.Com, an Entertainment Portal for the Madurai Youth will all the necessary stuff related to movies. With the right marketing strategy, the website was an immediate success among the youth and grabbed attention. There were frequent contests conducted in the website, which gave an oppurtunity for its visitors to win movie tickets, audio cds and cassettes along with various discount coupons at the major retailers in Madurai. The website entertained the viewers with authentic information related to movies such as stills, wallpapers, gossips, news, reviews and contests etc., Shailesh's knowledge on movies and his reviewing style is widely appreciated by his friends, clients and the visitors to his websites. His 'UthHeaven Movie & Music Ratings' are quite popular among the visitors along with the cinema hall owners and film distributors. He dedicates a lot of time in reading about cinema and makes constructive criticisms on the movies he gets to watch. Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Speilberg, M.Night Shyamalan and Robert Zemeckis are a few among his favourite filmmakers. Shailesh is the CEO, the Senior Web Designer at 'UthHeaven Web Services & Marketing'. He is also the Content Developer & Reviewer of UthHeaven.Com. Mr.Jude Vijay, a Management Graduate and a close friend of Shailesh, assisted him as a Content Developer during the initial days of UthHeaven.Com. Shailesh is thankful to Jude who played a vital role in supporting him by sharing his valuable comments and feedback on the Website and the Marketing Strategy. Jude now writes the Music Reviews and also select Movie Reviews for UthHeaven. His recent one includes the Movie Review for Super Star Rajinikanth's Sivaji. He is also into performing magic shows which he plans to incorporate in the program in the days to come. He had his graduation degree in English Literature from The American College, Madurai. He is an active member of the Young Entrepreneur School and Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Madurai. Shailesh is the Founder Secretary of the Alumni Association of Mahatma Schools (MAA), Madurai. Nearly after twenty years of admiring and relishing the magic of movies he is now a film critic on television. UthHeaven's Cinema Cinema - the television program on movies and the official website focuses on promoting the essence of movies and to appreciate filmmaking. The 20 minute program has select sections such as movie reviews, cine diary, coverage on latest movie and music releases, interesting information on hollywood movies, interactive discussions with special guests related to the movie industry including theatre owners and distributors & more.
